Frequently Asked Questions
When I'm planning a project that requires spectator seating,
how soon should I contact a seating contractor?
As early as
possible in the planning process and as soon as an
architect begins drawing up plans. You could save both
time and money by finding out what is, and what is not,
possible early on.
What kind of surface do I need for an outdoor bleacher
installation?
You need a
flat, level surface for most bleachers, and different
types are required depending on the specific
installation. Some examples are: a concrete base,
concrete piles placed at specific locations, crushed
rock, etc.
Yes, in
many locations. However, in areas where temperatures
reach high levels the asphalt becomes soft and is
unsuitable. Your engineer should be able to give you
good advice.
Your most
important task is to contact a seating contractor, such
as our firm, early in the planning process. Each
installation is so unique that we cannot provide a
general answer to your question.
You want a
chair that is comfortable for your patrons but ones that
gang together and are easy to disassemble and store.
Look for a solid frame with a good quality foam seat.
